Press Release: Fund the Future of Food & Farming: A United Call from Across Europe
As decision-makers decide the future of EU funding, GFGF is presenting a new position paper and grassroots demands as part of a united, EU-wide call to reform the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).
Towards a Just, Resilient & Future-Fit EU
“Towards a Just, Resilient & Future-Fit EU” is a joint position paper by National coalitions from the GFGF alliance.
The paper has been endorsed by 97 organizations across 13 countries all calling for a reformed CAP that integrates robust market regulation, reorients subsidy allocation towards public goods and sustainable practices, fosters generational renewal and advances gender, social, and environmental justice.

Double Standards on our Plates
It explores the EU's current trade policies and calls for the implementation of "mirror measures" to ensure that imported agricultural products meet the same environmental and health standards as those produced within the EU. Through case studies on soy, rapeseed, beef, and sheep meat, the report illustrates the negative impacts of these disparities and urges the EU to align its trade policies with its Green Deal and Farm to Fork objectives.

Want to fill out your own recipes for how to transform our food systems? As part of the participatory action 2024, we invited people all over Europe to write down their recipes for change. We binded the recipes into a book and will deliver it to the Commission in June 2025. The recipe pages are available here in multiple languages. Feel free to download and use them at your own events!
