About Us
Good Food Good Farming is a civil society alliance that campaigns for sustainable food and farming across Europe, with roots going back to 2012. Over the years we have worked with over 850 individuals and 700 organizations across 27 Member States.
The Network
At the heart of Good Food Good Farming are 18 national coalitions across EU Member States working on food and agriculture. Each coalition brings together a diverse range of organisations, including those representing consumers, farmers, climate, environment, trade, and animal welfare.
We also work closely with EU-level organisations to ensure that efforts across national and European levels are aligned and mutually reinforcing.
We are a diverse movement supporting the idea of a world based on solidarity where diversity and tolerance are a strength. We stand against discrimination based on person’s origin, skin colour, religion, sexual identity and orientation, abilities or any other characteristic.

Our Vision
Good Food Good Farming envisions a fair and resilient food system that is based on agroecology and guarantees access to healthy and locally sourced food for everyone. We want a future where livelihoods of small-scale farmers are ensured and public money is used to support those that produce food in a sustainable way.
Our Mission
The mission of Good Food Good Farming is to build a Europe-wide movement that is capable of exerting public pressure at EU level. Therefore we support organizations at the local and national level to engage with EU policies through exchange platforms, capacity building and joint campaigning. By amplifying the collective noise across Europe, we create legitimacy for transformational agri-food legislation.
Long-term Goal
By 2030, there is a diverse and influential movement of stakeholders engaged in the transformation of food and farming systems. The movement represents actors from all 27 EU Member States and acts as a collective powerful voice calling for agroecology, with sustainable food and farming having become a mainstream topic.
Our activities
Europe-wide coalition building: We connect diverse actors across Europe to enable shared learning and collaboration.
Amplification of grassroots voices: We design and implement campaigns that elevate the voices of grassroots groups and marginalized communities in EU food policy debates. This includes our flagship campaign – the annual European Days of Action every October.
Facilitation of joint advocacy: We equip national agrifood coalitions with materials and expert insights to put pressure on national and EU decision-makers for ambitious reforms like a transformation of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and pesticide phase-out.
Provision of multilingual resources: We offer free campaign materials and expert support to strengthen local campaigning and advocacy.
