GFGF Annual Network Meeting 2026

This year’s Good Food Good Farming Annual Network Meeting will take place from the 23. to the 25. of November 2026 in Berlin. Save this page to stay informed about the event details.

We are inviting both representatives of the national coalitions and EU-level organisations and are looking forward to create a space for valuable exchange. You can expect sessions focused on expert-led and mutual learning as well as joint action planning for the year ahead.

On this page you can currently find: travel advice, accommodation and venue information, general program, your poster, travel reimbursement instructions, team contacts.

Later we will also add: the full program, what to prepare for the event and how to engage.

How to get there

We ask you to plan and book your travel to and from Berlin yourself. GFGF can reimburse travel costs up to 200€ for up to 2 participants per organisation.

Travel options

  • Trains: The city is well accessible by train. Usually you arrive at Hauptbahnhof and travel further in-city with public transport.
  • Plane: If you need to travel by air, you will arrive at BER, Berlin Airport. From there there is a train service “FEX” that will bring you to Hauptbahnhof.
  • Bus: Flixbusses arrive in the east of Berlin at “Messe Nord/ZOB”. From there, public transport connects you to the city.

We advise to arrive on Monday the 23rd of November in the afternoon. We have evening plans, so it’s nice to already be checked into the accommodation by then. You can plan to depart on Wednesday the 25rd of November in the early afternoon. We have a morning program and shared lunch. If you leave early we can pack you some lunch.

Let us know if you run into any difficulties planning your travels. Also when you experience delays on the way to Berlin, please let us know.

Accomodation

We have booked a hotel for you if you indicated that need in the registration form. The hotel is located in Friedrichshain and close to the station ‘Ostbahnhof’.

Program

Here you can find the program of the Annual Network Meeting in an accordion format. It will evolve to be more detailed as we approach the event!

Cross-Movement Alliance Building – HOW?

In a moderated panel discussion we explore the diversity of National Coalitions. What are the differences of being newly established or in the game for a long time? How do we connect different movements behind the cause of building better food systems?

Housekeeping

Governance updates for the GFGF/ARC2020 Network of National Coalitions

Inspiring Actions across Europe

An open call invites participants to present and reflect upon an action or campaign of their coalition or organisation in the last year.

Policy – right now (and like the next 7 years)

We discuss CAP strategies, especially to understand how actors on national level can advocate in the negotiations of the National Regional Partnership Plan (NRPP) of their country. We will explore the questions of what synergies between countries we can use and what allies we can approach in that process.

Policy – thinking ahead

We’re wondering: What topics do we need to focus more on in the long-term to strategically reach the food systems we want?

We discuss what issues generally deserve more attention, more detailed knowledge building, so that we can strive towards our vision of the food systems, additionally to fighting the battles right in front of us.

Planning 2027

Together we explore what focuses the different coalitions and organisations will take in 2027 and what shared efforts we want to take together.

Prepare a poster for the ANM

We are preparing a poster exhibition for the ANM. We want to display a poster for each organisation present.

Therefore, we ask you to fill out the information on a poster template. When you follow the Canva link below you can access the template. If you are registered for the event you will find your organisation on one of the pages. Please fill out this poster until 13.11.2026, so we still have enough time to print them. Please, don’t change a poster that doesn’t have the name of your organisation!

At the ANM, everyone can then browse the posters and explore the diversity of organisations that will be there.
